"I Love Art" Summer Camp with Abrakadoodle

3D Printing: D&D
Learn the ins and outs of 3D Design and 3D printing with TinkerCAD! While learning 3D design skills, students will make custom D&D D4's (4-sided dice) and D10s (10-sided dice). They'll also do fun D&D-inspired challenges and a mini-campaign while waiting for the prints to finish. Dice will be printed and sent home. Print and material fees are included. -
3D Printing: Jewelry Fabrication & Arts
Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCAD and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, a ring, or a pendant in this class. Additionally, they will get to bring home two of their 3D creations, and other beaded creations. Printing and material fees are included. -
3D Printing: Product Development & Fabrication
This camp is a hands-on product design class emphasizing creative thinking and problem-solving. Students will explore options to find, modify, and prepare 3D files to be brought to life using a 3D printer. By the end of this course, students will become familiar with the workflow and terminology of digital fabrication. We begin learning by designing and printing functional fishing lures, then continue solving design challenges. Printing and material fees are included. -

7th and 8th Grade Super Band
This class is by invitation only. A full band experience for students who want a change to play more with a large group. This class is for 7th and 8th graders with band experience. Weekly rehearsals will be held at Burnsville High School in the Band Room and students can utilize activity buses from their middle school. Any questions can be directed to Nick Armstrong, Director of Bands at Burnsville High School. Final band concert on Tuesday, March 11. -

Kids and adults and cookies...what a terrific combination! Designed for kids age 6 and up, you will create and take home 6 varieties of cookies. Rolled Sugar Thins will be ready for kids to paint original designs using food coloring and paint brushes. Kids and adults will mix, shape and bake famous Peanut Butter Balls. Already mixed and ready for shaping will be Chocolate Mint, Peppernuts, Sugar Drop will be dipped in assorted sprinkles and finally, multi-colored Spritz Cookies.
