This talk will look at the signs, symptoms and possible causes of stroke  and  preventive approaches. 

Presenter Sheila Rahimi became interested in health strategies after losing her mother a few years ago. Her work spans biochemistry and biotechnology. She is the recipient of the University of Minnesota Academic award in Chemistry, honoring educational excellence and discovery-driven research.
