Tour the Minneapolis Institute of Art with Adrienne on Saturday, November 14th from 11:00am - 12:00pm as she highlights work by artists discussed in her fall classes Art Outside the Box and A Survey of Women Artists, Part 1. She'll also point out examples of the different art movements, styles, and subjects covered in her classes, like the Baroque period, the tradition of portraiture, and Impressionism. This unique experience encourages participants to apply what they learn in class to a museum setting, enhancing their understanding by seeing the artwork in person. This tour will also prepare students for Adrienne's Spring 2027 classes. Cost includes the guided tour. Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Designed just for middle school artists, this multi-day anime drawing intensive focuses on expressive faces, dramatic action poses, manga animals, outfit design, and advanced character styling. Students grow confidence, technique, and personal style through a series of dynamic, skill-building projects.

We'll create over 20 appetizers that require less than 20 minutes, from start to finish! You can serve these appetizers as a first course or as a snack for family and friends. You could even create a complete buffet! Our selections will include recipes for spreads, hearty appetizers, dips, dippers, nibbles, hot appetizers, and more! Enjoy the selections during the class or take your samples home. You'll also learn special tips to create an appetizer party. Supply fee is included in total registration price.

Join us for an hour plus of vigorous aquatic exercise. Water aerobics is beneficial for many reasons: it's low impact, it focuses on range of motion, resistance and strength building, and it's cardio exercise that can assist with weight control. No swimming skills necessary, easily adaptable to any fitness level. You'll get clear, concise instructions for each section of class: warm-up, strengthening/toning, aerobic, targeted arm work and cool-down. Optional: Bring 1-2 pound hand weights to increase your work out. Participants must be able to enter and exit the pool independently.
