Preschool at DiamondheadYou have chosen a 4 Star Parent Aware rated program, ensuring quality early childhood experiences and well qualified staff for your student. We strive to provide an engaging, caring and safe environment conducive to learning through play. Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2025, with independent toileting skills. (Independent toileting means means no diapers, no pull ups; the child knows when they need to use the toilet and goes by themselves.) There is no transportation provided. Complete an Early Childhood Screening (required within 90 days of preschool start date). Sign up for screeningInclude a copy of the child's birth certificate or passport and immunization record, and parent's proof of residency (proof of income may be required).Primary communication will be by email. The EdgeThe EDGE is a comprehensive youth program for kids entering grades 6-9 (or until your child turns 16), with a focus on building community, independence and positive interpersonal communication and socialization skills in a fun, recreational and educational environment where kids can feel success, achievement and recognition. Kids who attend The EDGE are involved in planning and have choices in activities. They take exciting trips and are active and out in the community. VPK Before and After School CareThis program provides a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for 4- and 5-year-old children outside of core VPK instructional hours. Wrap Around Care complements the VPK experience by offering structured play, enrichment activities, quiet time, and outdoor learning. Children remain in a familiar setting with consistent routines and staff, promoting a smooth transition between VPK instruction and extended care.
