Learn to create a needle-felted doll using wool roving, in this hands-on class. You’ll work with felting needles, core wool and colorful batting to shape a unique voodoo or spirit doll. Ages 6-12 Have fun with friends at Nerf Night in the gym! Kids will have fun starting with Open Fire! followed by playing Nerf Blaster games such as Capture the Flag, Civil War, Humans vs. Zombies, Alamo, & MORE! Bring your own Nerf Blaster and eye protection; or Nerf Blaster and eye protection rental available for an extra fee (blaster: $5, eye protection $2; pay day of the event).

Shine bright this holiday season with our fused glass wire-wrapped stars or trees class! Create a dazzling, one-of-a-kind ornament with bold colors, sparkling glass, and artistic wire wrapping to give it that extra flair. Whether you keep it classic or go wild with your design, these stars make the perfect holiday décor or a standout gift. Let your creativity shine—no experience needed, just fun, flash, and fusion! Instructor will bring your designs to her studio to finish them in a kiln in temps over 1400 degrees then return them to DEC for pickup.

Gather the family and join us for a magical party filled with fun! Enjoy kid-friendly mocktails, decorate and enjoy cupcakes, dance the afternoon away, and more. Costumes and dress-up are encouraged, so come ready to celebrate, make memories, and have some family fun together! Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian 18 years or older.

Overcoming carb cravings is not a matter of willpower buta matter of biology. Learn how you can stop the vicious cycle of food craving and weight gain. No hype – just the facts.

In this class, you’ll create an acrylic painting on an 8x10" canvas inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe. Along the way, you’ll learn about her artistic style and influences while following clear, step-by-step guidance. By the end, you’ll have your own finished piece that reflects her bold forms and colors, as well as your personal creativity.
