Your biological or bio age, however, is measured by how well your organs and body systems work. And there are many things you can do to affect your biological age. In this workshop, you will learn simple, scientifically proven things you can do right now to decrease your body age. The Assassination of President John F Kennedy: An In Depth AnalysisCivics & HistoryThis course is designed to scrutinize the disparities between the findings of the Warren Commission and the United States House of Representatives regarding the assassination of President Kennedy. The Warren Commission, which conducted a ten-month investigation and released its conclusions in September 1964, will be compared with the conclusions reached by the House of Representatives, which conducted a more extensive thirty-one-month investigation and published its report in March 1979. Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the controversies surrounding President Kennedy's assassination. The 2-hour sessions are structured to provide ample time for participants to share their comments and pose questions, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. This approach encourages a well-rounded exploration of the subject matter, allowing participants to delve into various perspectives and gain a deeper insight into the complexities surrounding this historical event.Fall 2026 -
The At Lunch Bunch3D Discover, Dream, Do!Lunchtime supervision is offered at a cost of $20 per week (for up to 4 days) to students attending one of our 3-hour classes in the morning and/or afternoon at Harriet Bishop. (Preregistration is required.) Students can take advantage of the district's daily hot lunch, or bring their own lunches each day. Please be sure to pick up your student promptly at 12:50 pm, when lunch supervision ends, if he/she is not registered for an afternoon activity at the school.Summer 2026

The Baby Boomer’s Guide to Medicare Planning: Learn the Medicare BasicsMoney MattersAre you turning sixty-five and wondering about Medicare? Would you like to understand Medicare Part A and B and the difference between Medicare supplements and Advantage plans? What are your choices if you are working and have a group plan? The EdgeThe EDGE is a comprehensive youth program for kids entering grades 6-9 (or until your child turns 16), with a focus on building community, independence and positive interpersonal communication and socialization skills in a fun, recreational and educational environment where kids can feel success, achievement and recognition. Kids who attend The EDGE are involved in planning and have choices in activities. They take exciting trips and are active and out in the community. Players will be taught how to properly stickhandle, pass, and shoot in a funand positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes. Sticks and pucks areprovided. Parent participation is required for 2 and 3 year olds and recommended when need for 4-6 year olds. Ages 6-10 DASH Sports floor hockey camps provide players with a well-rounded hockey experience covering a broad range ofskills training & skill-based games. Two Day Folk Art Workshop: Norwegian Telemark RosemalingArts & CraftsExplore the tradition of Norwegian Folk Art known as Telemark Rosemaling. The class is designed for beginning and continuing painters. Stories and history are shared as you follow step-by-step instructions to complete a piece of Rosemaling on wood. All supplies are provided, but a supply list is available for students who want to use their own paints and brushes. Wear a paint apron or clothing you can get a little paint on. Adults and students age 13 are welcome to enjoy this fun folk art. For the best experience, please arrive on time.Summer 2026 -
USTA Red Ball Tennis CampDASH Sports CampsDASH Sports USTA Red Ball Tennis camps provide participants with introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. This camp is a fun social experience designed to cover basics of tennis fundamentals. With modified equipment and lower compression red balls, this camp will supercharge the success of your players. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of the serve, forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke, forehand volley, backhand volley, and the overhead smash will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear sunscreen and athletic clothing/shoes and bring a tennis racket (optional if you have one), water bottle, and a snack. Ultimate Survival3D Discover, Dream, Do!Kids will learn survival skills through fun games and activities. They will leave knowing a wide variety of outdoor survival skills like the rule of three, how to signal for help, shelter engineering, fire science and safety, treating water, orienteering, and more! Plus, at the end of the camp they will get the chance to test out all their skills in a survival scenario and graduate from Survival Camp! The skills are not only great for a lost/survival situation but also for camping and outdoor excursions as well as teaching kids’ confidence, self-reliance, teamwork, and problem solving.
