Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK)
Must be 4 years of age by Sept 1, 2026 and not yet kindergarten eligible.
At District 191, our Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) program helps your child build a love for learning in a caring, inclusive environment.
Classes are scheduled 5 days per week, M-F. Independent toileting skills required (no pull ups). Fee based on eligibility and sliding fee scale (refer to application).
Diamondhead Education Center offers full day VPK from 9 am-3:30 pm with wrap around care options.
Morning or afternoon VPK is offered at our district elementary schools with transportation and meal services available.
