Chateau Winery

9:45 am  Depart Burnsville Senior Center, 200 W Burnsville Pkwy, Burnsville. Bus loads at Door #12 lower east side of Diamondhead Education Center. Check in begins inside the Sr Center 30 minutes prior to departure. Please check in no later than 15 minutes prior to departure time.

11 am Arrive at the Lowell Inn, a lush and elegant hotel that still stands the test of time. Have lunch in the Garden Room. The Lowell Inn, better known as the "Mt. Vernon of the Midwest, " opened in 1927. Menu: Fresh & almond crusted walleye is served with lemon cream sauce, vegetable of the day & sour cream mashed potatoes. Beverge and cookie. 

12:30 pm Learn the Lowell Inn. 

1:30 pm Arrive at the Chateau Winery nestled in rolling hills of the St. Croix River Valley. The castle-like breathtaking building, will have you feeling as is you've been whisked away to a historic French chateau. We'll divide into two groups for a tasting and a tour of the production area and Barrel Room. Explore the old-world charm of a winery created in the image of a European Estate. Enjoy the picturesque views of the St. Croix River Valley and vineyards located on the property. Visit the gift area and decide which wines you would like to purchase. 

3 pm We  leave the Chateau. Estimated arrival in Burnsville, 4:15 pm.

Trip includes transportation, tour guide, lunch  (tip for lunch included). Additional gratuitites of $1-5/person for the driver and professional guide are customary.
