NEW! Multicultural Cooking Series - Korean Cuisine Part I: Kimchi at WEE Farm
18+ (children 12-17 free to attend with paid adult - max 2 children per paid adult)
Kimchi is a cornerstone Korean dish developed over 2,000 years ago as a way to ferment produce to last over winter. While commonly made with cabbage, we will also discuss the many other fruits and vegetables that can be fermented in this style. Come learn how to make this Asian dish that only gets better over time! Participants will take home a Kimchi sample.

WEE Farm was created to be a place where ALL are welcome to learn and interact. WEE Farm provides animal-assisted learning and sustainable urban agricultural education for a culture of health & wellness and inclusivity for all. Dr. Bonnie Laabs was educated in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Minnesota.
WEE Farm will host a series of hands-on Community Education classes this fall designed to engage both adults and families in sustainable gardening, food systems, and cultural food traditions. Classes will be held on-site at the farm and taught by local experts, with a focus on interactive farm experiences.
