Accidental Presidents – Who changed the course of American History

Nine Presidents have not completed their terms in office. Four died of natural causes, four were cut down by an assassin’s bullet, and one resigned in disgrace. There have also been as many as ten “Near Misses.”

Each death and the single resignation changed the course of American history. Together we will examine how these changes occurred, how that changed our history for better or worse, and the story behind why these nine presidents left office before their terms was up, and the story behind the men who replaced them.
