If you love to work with glass or would like to give it a try – this class gives you the opportunity to learn how to cut class, design, select and build your own artistic piece. These classes are fun! Suncatcher is 8”x8”. Make the fused glass piece in class. They will be brought back to the artist studio for fusing in a kiln at about 1480 degrees. Over the course of three evenings, you will become familiar with the vernacular, tiles, combinations, and rules of the game as determined by the National Mah Jongg League. The 2026 NMJL card is included with tuition so you will be ready to go during class and beyond. Bring a bag lunch and a water bottle to refuel during break. Sodas are available from the Senior Center for $1. Space is limited. Reserve your spot soon. Instructor Betsy Nurmela has played Mah Jong for over 20 years, and has taught hundreds of people how to play.Summer 2026 -
