    Try Wrestling (Free!)Boys and Girls Age 4-Grade 5 This is a two-night opportunity to visit the Blaze wrestling room and learn a few moves from some Blaze varsity wrestlers! In addition, your student will get to meet our youth and high school coaches. This is a great way for new wrestlers to give it a try, and for returners to kick off the season. When: Tue, October 20 and Thu, October 22Where: Burnsville High School Wrestling Room (A153)Time: 6-7:30 p.m. Offered at no cost, but pre-registration with Community Education is required.

    Burnsville Blaze Youth Wrestling
    Sports and Recreation

    Burnsville Blaze Youth Wrestling Boys and Girls Age 4-Grade 5 Blaze Youth Wrestling is open to boys and girls of all experience levels. Practices are held twice a week and focus on wrestling fundamentals (stance, positioning, takedowns, escapes, and pinning) while creating a team environment that emphasizes fun and sportsmanship. Wrestlers should demonstrate effort and the ability to follow instructions. Competition at local meets is optional (additional cost). Registration fee includes t-shirt and an additional team swag item. Practice (for all ages) will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Burnsville High School wrestling room from November to March. The latter part of class time will focus on more advanced techniques.
