Annual One91 Chess TournamentChessNewOpen to students of District 191 only- USCF membership is not required To get the Early Bird rate of $25, register online by Wednesday, December 11 at 4 pm. Online registration fee will be $35 until 4 pm on Friday, December 13. Onsite registration of $40 will be open at the door on Saturday, December 16, from 8:15-8:45 am (cash or check preferred). Community Education cancellation and refund policies apply. Section Information: Open to ISD 191 students grades K-12 only. (Students attending Virtual Academy, please list the home school you would attend.) K-2 ISD 191 Novice: Individual awards only K-5 ISD 191 Championship: Team and individual awards including top grade level trophies. Chess Club - Fall OnlyChessGrade 1-5 The "King of Games and the Game of Kings." Chess is a fun game of strategy proven to improve concentration and build brain power. Tuition includes premium subscription to Chess Kids. Subscription includes video tutorials, online practice puzzles and leveled play as well as the opportunity to play other chess club members online from home. When enrollment permits, chess club is divided by ability. Chess clubs are coordinated by Brian Ribnick, coach of the award winning ISD 191 chess teams. Coaching staff ranges from classroom teachers to Burnsville High students with a long-term love of the game.Fall 2024
