Book BuddiesGathering GroundsBook Buddies is an intergenerational literacy activity between the Burnsville Senior Center and ISD 191 Early Childhood Programs. The book for this date is Hot Cocoa Calm by Kira Wiley. It's a part of the Mindfulness Moments for Kids series that introduces mindful breathing to teach kids (and us?) to find peace and calm. After story time we'll enjoy a hot cocoa bar together. Compliments of InHom Care. Gathering Grounds provides engaging educational and social activities at the Burnsville Senior Center. Activities are provided at no charge, however, free will donations are accepted to help offset speaker or activity expenses.
