Blaze Elementary Cross Country

Entering Gr K-6
Our Elementary Cross Country running team is designed to introduce young athletes to running and allow experienced runners to continue with the sport. During practice we focus on aerobic endurance and fitness, core strength and flexibility, the importance of sleep and nutrition.  We also have the opportunity to participate in Cross Country style races with other teams from local areas/ districts.  Most importantly, we have fun! 

Practices will be on Mondays from 6 - 7 pm.  The first two weeks there will also be practice on Thursdays at the same time.  Most meets will be on Thursdays at 6 pm (Meet locations will vary from week to week). Tentative schedule here.

Cost is $75, which covers the team t-shirt, race entry fees, and other administrative costs.
