Join us for a fun and educational 4-H Outdoor Skills Day Camp designed to help youth build confidence, responsibility, and safety awareness while enjoying the outdoors. Campers will rotate through a variety of interactive stations that combine hands-on activities with real-world skills they can use at home and on the trail. Station sessions include ATV Safety, Tread Lightly And Leave No Trace Principles, Basic First Aid, and Sun, Plant and Animal Safety. Camp specifics will be emailed to registered participants prior to camp.

Sample lots of different kinds of art in this fun and creative camp. We’ll use paper mâché, clay, canvas, chalk, paint and more to create some fabulous art. Make a paper mâché bowl, sculpt cute owls and silly animals, paint a colorful canvas, make some 3D birds with fancy feathers and more. Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack. If you love clay this is the camp for you. Learn all about sculpting, color-mixing, and decorative design. In this fun camp we’ll make kitty cat bowls, doggie faces, a pretty pink pig, a funny face pencil holder and more. We’ll use air dry and model magic clay, unique materials and clay tools to create our sculptures. Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack.

This class is a fun "Date Night" for you and your child to paint together. No experience is needed, this class is about spending quality time with your child and having fun. Each person is provided a 16 x 20 canvas, acrylic paints, and all the supplies needed to create their own masterpiece that can stand alone or be hung side-by-side for a combined work of art. The instructor will lead you step-by-step through the painting.

Gr 6-12 Join the high school coaches for shooting club to get as many age and game appropriate shots up in order to improve form and consistency. If you want to be an elite shooter, this camp is for you!

Join the high school coaches for a camp that will develop the higher level skills and basketball concepts that will prepare the player for the next level of competition they will face in high school. Drills and coaching will focus on advanced offensive reads, spacing, and movement as well as team defensive concepts all in conjunction with functional skill development.

Join the high school coaches for a skills camp that will work on developing the fundamentals of the game such as ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork, but also advancing the players understanding of spacing, running offense, making reads, and team defense concepts. We also want to provide a fun atmosphere through positive coaching and challenges/games mixed in to grow the love the sport.

Blaze Performance is a summer program that will focus on the development of movement, speed, agility and strength for the total athlete. Enhance your athletic performance by preparing for your upcoming season with your teammates at Blaze Performance! Sport groupings are recommended and athletes can be placed in other sessions if needed.

For Intermediate SwimmersEntering Grades 5-12 These camps are designed for students who are comfortable swimming at least one length of the pool (25 yards). Participants must be comfortable and safe in the deep end of the pool. Learn competition fundamentals and how to push yourself in a fun and supportive environment. Swim and Dive Camps offer excellent benefits for all levels of experience with a great coach to athlete ratio with 2-3 coaches; participation in both camps is encouraged. Upon completion, participants will receive a swim and dive summer camp shirt as well as information to get connected to BHS high school teams, as well as competitive clubs in the area. Optional pool party at Eagle Ridge Middle School for all campers and immediate family members on July 31. Blaze Intro to Competitive Swim (Held at the Burnsville High School Pool) Swim camp will be an introduction to the 4 competitive swim strokes, as well as starts, turns, finishes and techniques. Improve your skills and learn what competitive swimming is all about. T-shirt provided at end of camp. Camper must bring suit, towel, and goggles. Blaze Intro to Competitive Diving (Held at the Eagle Ridge Middle School Pool) Learn the basics of competitive diving, including numbering, scoring, board approach, etc. Get comfortable jumping, diving (and potentially flipping) off of the one-meter springboard. Former gymnasts are strongly encouraged to try diving! T-shirt provided at end of camp. Camper must bring suit, towel, and goggles. Goggles can not be worn off the diving board. Improve your skills and learn what competitive diving is all about.

Entering Grades 7-12 The Burnsville summer tennis program is a fun and educational program centered around drills and matches to improve your child's skill and growing your student's love for the game. Camp drills will run weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 pm, with matches on Wednesdays (usually 9 am-3 pm). The camp is lead by current and former BHS coaches and players. Tennis shoes and a racket are required to participate, it is also a good idea to bring water and a snack, especially on match days.
