The goal of the Burnsville Senior Center is to enhance the lives of senior adults through engagement, services, enjoyable activities, and companionship. Our mission is to provide a central hub for senior adults with offerings that respect their experiences, and talents; caters to their diverse needs and interests; upholds their dignity; promotes independence; and encourages active participation here and throughout the community. Our fundraising efforts help us remain a membership free center where all are welcome to join us at any level of involvement. Your ongoing support is appreciated and every donation helps. EuchreLet's Play!Euchre is an excellent social game comprised of two player teams who work together to take tricks. It's popularity in the Midwest stems from the German speaking immigrants who introduced the game of 'juckerspiel' in the late 19th century. Euchre meets every Monday. A small fee of .50 is payable to the volunteer coordinator each week of play.Activities

The Fare For All truck visits monthly, setting up a 2-hour store where participants can purchase and take home their food packages on the same day. Fare For All offers fresh, high-quality food items at discounts of up to 40% off retail prices. Which food items are available for purchase? The Produce Pack ($10) typically contains five types of fresh vegetables and two fresh fruits. The Meat Only Pack ($11) includes a minimum of four assorted meat items. The Monthly Special ($25-$30) may include Mega Meat Packs, Grilled Packs, and Holiday Packs. This opportunity is great for stretching your food budget. There are no income restrictions or forms to fill out. Fare For All is for everyone. Payment options include cash, debit or credit cards, and food support (EBT) cards.
