Summer SwingBlaze SportsBeginning Swing- Learn the basics of East Coast Swing and the Lindy Hop! Develop specialized dance routines to perform for family and friends at the end of the session. Grab a friend, put on your dancin' shoes and get in the swing! Summer Swing ends with a parent performance at the high school and a Late Night Swing in Minneapolis (date to be announced at the start of the session)! Friends and Family are invited to both of these performances! Advanced Swing- If you’ve participated in Summer Swing before and want to audition for the high school team, register for Advanced! The dance you learn will be your audition for the team. If you don't want to audition for the high school team, advanced is a great opportunity to build and improve on skills learned during the beginner course. (Meet at Terrace Oaks East, 12650 Parc Dr, Burnsville, MN) Burnsville Best Running Camp - July 20-23Grades 5-9 Practice and learn from the best Burnsville has to offer. Former Blaze All-State Athletes, current college athletes, and Big Ten Champions will be on hand to help young runners learn what it takes to be the best at your sport. A focus on goal-setting, consistency, teamwork, and optimism will be preached in addition to workouts, games, and challenges each day. (Held at Pates Stadium at BHS) Take Both and Save! Blaze Swim and Dive Camp - Competitive Swimming and Diving GR 5-12Blaze SportsFor Intermediate SwimmersEntering Grades 5-12 These camps are designed for students who are comfortable swimming at least one length of the pool (25 yards). Participants must be comfortable and safe in the deep end of the pool. Learn competition fundamentals and how to push yourself in a fun and supportive environment. Swim and Dive Camps offer excellent benefits for all levels of experience with a great coach to athlete ratio with 2-3 coaches; participation in both camps is encouraged. Upon completion, participants will receive a swim and dive summer camp shirt as well as information to get connected to BHS high school teams, as well as competitive clubs in the area. Optional pool party at Eagle Ridge Middle School for all campers and immediate family members on July 31. Blaze Intro to Competitive Swim (Held at the Burnsville High School Pool) Swim camp will be an introduction to the 4 competitive swim strokes, as well as starts, turns, finishes and techniques. Improve your skills and learn what competitive swimming is all about. T-shirt provided at end of camp. Camper must bring suit, towel, and goggles. Blaze Intro to Competitive Diving (Held at the Eagle Ridge Middle School Pool) Learn the basics of competitive diving, including numbering, scoring, board approach, etc. Get comfortable jumping, diving (and potentially flipping) off of the one-meter springboard. Former gymnasts are strongly encouraged to try diving! T-shirt provided at end of camp. Camper must bring suit, towel, and goggles. Goggles can not be worn off the diving board. Improve your skills and learn what competitive diving is all about.Summer 2026 -

Sideline CheerBlaze SportsGrades 7-12 for the 2026-27 school year*This is a prerequisite for Varsity/JV Competitive Cheer and for ALL sideline athletes to continue on to the competition season (registration is in August, and season runs through February). Practices start with team placement tryouts May 26 & 27 from 4:30-7pm. June-early October Tuesday & Thursday practices: times will be based on team placement (all athletes will make a team). Football game schedule to be announced. Pep fests, parades, & additional school spirit event dates will be added. Cheerleaders are required to purchase uniform, poms, white cheer shoes and a warm up jacket (returning cheerleaders do not need to repurchase items you already have). Cost is approximately $200 if all items are needed. Links to order will be sent to registration email and orders must be placed by July 1. Additional registration required in August. Blaze TennisBlaze SportsEntering Grades 7-12 The Burnsville summer tennis program is a fun and educational program centered around drills and matches to improve your child's skill and growing your student's love for the game. Camp drills will run weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 pm, with matches on Wednesdays (usually 9 am-3 pm). The camp is lead by current and former BHS coaches and players. Tennis shoes and a racket are required to participate, it is also a good idea to bring water and a snack, especially on match days.Summer 2026 -
